One signing workflow for all of the EU

Sign with the same DokDesk workflow across all 27 EU member states. eIDAS-recognised electronic signatures, with EU national eIDs plugging into one negotiation-to-evidence flow - no separate tool per country.

One signature, recognised EU-wide

eIDAS gives an electronic signature legal effect across all 27 EU member states, and DokDesk's engine is built to accept national eIDs as they plug in - so a Baltic contract holds the same in any of them.

  • eIDAS
  • Smart-ID
  • Mobile-ID
  • GDPR
  • eIDAS Art. 25: a signature can't be denied legal effect just for being electronic - in any member state.
  • Every signature is recorded the same way, so a cross-border agreement keeps one consistent, defensible history.

Sign across borders without switching tools

A contract signed in one EU country has to hold up in another. eIDAS is the EU regulation that makes that work: an electronic signature cannot be denied legal effect or court admissibility just because it is electronic, and a Qualified signature carries the legal effect of a handwritten one across every member state.

DokDesk builds the same template, negotiation, signing and evidence flow on top of that regulation - so a counterparty in another country signs the way they already trust, and you get one consistent record back.

  • eIDAS-recognised signatures usable across all 27 EU member states
  • Choose SES, AES or QES per document, whoever and wherever the signer is
  • QES carries handwritten-equivalent legal effect across the EU (eIDAS Art. 25)
  • Signers sign with a secure link - no account, no app, in any country
  • One evidence base per signature, in the same shape for every jurisdiction

National eIDs plug into the same workflow

Your signer uses the identity they already have. DokDesk's signing engine is built so EU national eID schemes can plug in, instead of forcing one method on everyone.

Baltic eID rails

Smart-ID and Mobile-ID, the schemes millions across the Baltics already use, plug into the signing flow - Smart-ID is a certified Qualified Signature Creation Device, so its signatures can qualify as QES.

EU national eIDs

The engine is designed so other EU national eIDs and qualified trust providers can be added, so signers across member states use the identity their own country issues them.

No account for signers

Wherever a counterparty sits, they open one secure link and sign - no DokDesk account, no software install, no per-country onboarding.

One evidence record everywhere

Every signature, on any eID, returns the same court-ready evidence: who signed, when, how, signer email, IP and device metadata, timestamp and audit trail.

EU data residency, by default

Cross-border does not mean your contracts leave the EU. DokDesk keeps your templates, contracts and signed documents inside the EU under GDPR, so working across member states never means handing your data to another jurisdiction.

  • Contracts and signed documents stored in the EU under GDPR
  • Workspace and role-based access (owner, admin, manager, legal, viewer) per company
  • The signer keeps a clear audit trail no matter which country they signed from
  • Branding on contracts, signing pages and emails stays consistent across every market

What we don't claim

DokDesk applies the eIDAS framework; it is not a law firm and gives no legal advice. QES support is architecture-ready - Smart-ID, Mobile-ID and qualified trust providers can plug in - and a Qualified signature is broadly, but not always, sufficient: some national laws still require specific forms for things like certain real-estate or family-law deeds. Check the local requirement for those cases.
